Nutrition Analytics

Team Leader: John Corthésy Contact

Our mission is to support Nestlé and NIHS programs by enhancing the understanding of how nutrition impact health. We take the novel assays developed within NIHS technological platforms and we integrate them into our high throughput analytical capabilities using the latest mass spectrometry technologies.

Our instrumentation includes liquid chromatography and supercritical fluid chromatography coupled to triple quadrupole mass spectrometry for multiplexed targeted quantitative assay as well as gas chromatography and induced coupled plasma mass spectrometry.

Key Goals

  • Set up state-of-the-art mass spectrometry laboratory for translational research.
  • Develop automated solutions for sample preparation, tracking, analysis and processing of high throughput data.
  • Analyze samples from NIHS and Nestlé clinical trials.
